Our junior holiday courses are run during school holiday weeks (Mon-Fri 09:30-16:30) using a team of RYA qualified and experienced instructors using the wide range of boats we have available. We offer all of the courses under the RYA syllabus. Suitable for ages 7+.
For all young sailors ready to move up to an advanced level, the Stage 4 certificate means that you have the skill to sail a double-handed boat as a crew or helm, rig and launch in any wind direction, demonstrate the use of rig controls and reefing depending the wind conditions and can demonstrate the advanced sailing techniques and manoeuvres outlined in Stage 4.
It is highly recommended that all sailors are able to sail to a confident standard and have spent plenty of time on the water developing and demonstrating their skills required in stages 1, 2 and 3. This course has a maximum student ratio of 6:1. All course materials and certificates are included in the course price.
